The Naked Truth

"It’s near midnight. And what do I find you working on? I deliberately gave you a work to do. The hour is so very near. My coming. Did you forget? Are you tired? Could you not tarry with Me in this last hour?

The cares of this life have swallowed you up. You are no longer whole. You look to Me to answer you, but you have not noticed I have hidden Myself away. You have not sought after Me with your whole heart, as I longed for you to. I waited, but you have not shown up.

How I would long to hold you close, to answer your prayers, to show you My love. All the while, you sing Me songs, you quote My Words. But you do not do the things that are written therein. I wanted obedience, not sacrifice. I wanted you to seek Me with your whole heart, not part of it. Not the left overs. Don’t partition Me. I said, You shall have no other Gods before you. But when I search, what do I find?

What are these altars? What are these shrines? What are these trinkets? You bring Me the minimal and expect for Me to bless it? I Am a great King and where is My honor? You give it to another. You give it to yourself! You will give it to a stranger, but not to Me, says the Lord.

How typical! If you had known Me, you would have searched after Me longingly. Your heart would have beat for Me. You would have longed to know My will and to do My will. But what is this that I find you doing near the midnight hour? Where is your candle? It is dark and the time is short. Repentance is your answer. Call to Me and I will answer you, seek Me with your whole heart and I will be found of you.

Have I not said it, will I not do it? Says, the Lord. Only take heed and amend your ways. The hour is near, let Me find you ready”.

“Adam, where are you?” Adam answered, “I saw that I was naked, so I hid myself”. God said, “Who told you that you were naked?” Genesis 3:10

God did not ask, Where are you hiding? Or Why did you hide? God asked, “Who told you that you were naked”? What God was asking was, Whose voice are you listening to? God never told them that they were naked. As if it were something dirty or defiling.

God certainly has seen you naked. He made you naked to begin with. It was because of sin, of our separation from God, that we needed to be clothed. For the serpents sake, for mankind's sake and for shames sake. As a reminder that we need Him.

And ever since, we have been hiding from God, in plain sight. There is nothing

hidden from God ~ “Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is

uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account”

Hebrews 4:13.

And so, Adam had to give account. Just as we all will do. What is this that we have done? Have we been faithful to Him after we have received His Spirit? Have we done, at a bare minimum, what He says in His Word? Have we sought Him with our whole heart? Was He found of us, as He promised He would be if we would seek Him?

Jeremiah 29:13.

Our Mentor, our Messiah, Yahushua, has been, all this time, seated at the right hand of the Father, ever living to make intercession for us Hebrews 7:25 & 12:2. If in fact, we have been born again from above, then we should have the down payment of His Spirit, and we should be about our Father’s business. Colossians 3:2 tells us that if we are indeed raised with the Spirit of the Messiah, we should not mind the earthly things, but the things that belong to God and His Kingdom.

What is it about God’s Word that we do not like? What is it that we do not want to do? And why is it? And why do we allow it? It is time now that we ask ourselves these

important questions. And imperative that we find the answers. We must seek Him now, while He may be found.

“Seek the Lord while He may be found; call on Him while He is near. Let the wicked

forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and He will have mercy on them, and to our God, for He will freely pardon. “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts. As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is My Word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to Me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it”.

Isaiah 55:6-11

We know that the carnal or fallen state of mind, is the enemy of God ~ Romans 8:7. Why then do we reason to be right? Or why do we then try to deny it and pretend like we are doing His will, all the while in

actuality, doing our own will and calling it righteous? We are deceiving our own selves. It was then in the Garden when God had to come and put it all in order.

Don’t you think that He feels your separation? He in fact does! Don’t you think He then comes to reason with you? He in fact has! Why then has your heart been so hardened by the deceitfulness of your own separation with Him that you have ignored it? Or that you have not even noticed?!

Who has bewitched (blinded you, deceived you, cast a spell on) you that you should not obey the truth?! Your heart has departed so far apart from God, that you do not even know His mind anymore! If you did, He would find you preparing and I would not have to write you this letter.

There is only one thing for you to do. Stop right now what you are doing or not

doing, your sins of commission and omission that continually and perpetually separate you from Him and repent. As He said, if you will (re)turn to Him, He will have mercy and freely pardon you. Just ask yourself this one question: “Is this true”? If there is any chance it is, pray this prayer:

Father, I come before Your throne of grace to obtain Your help and mercy in the time of need. I confess before You that I do indeed need Your heart, Your mind, and Your thoughts. Please forgive me for not seeking You with my whole heart. Please forgive me for putting other things and people in Your place. For having the cares of this life before me, instead of You. Search me, try me, see if there be any wicked way in me and lead me back to You. I repent and turn to You with my whole heart. Help me Father to know You again intimately. That my heart beats for You, as a deer pants after the water brooks, so let my soul long for You again. I choose You. I choose Your ways.

Save me all over again, rapture my heart for You and set me in right standing before You. Leave nothing lacking. That, when You return, You find me waiting attentively for You, with my lamp ready and I hear Your words, “Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful over a few things, I will put you in charge of so much more! It is now time for celebration!”
